Kawakami Property Management, Inc. was opened in 2015 by Sheila Kawakami, who was the only property manager, with Elmer Cadiz, who had years of property management bookkeeping experience. Since that time, we have grown to have 5 licensed property managers who collectively, have nearly 100 years of experience. Daniel Murren handles our accounting and administration keeping the office running smoothly.

After 10 years of specializing in residential property management, Sheila Kawakami (R) decided to take her passion to another level and opened up her own property management business in April, 2015.
Sheila has been a licensed real estate agent since 2002 and went on to earn her real estate broker license in 2008. An honest, dedicated worker who is available to her clients any time of day, Sheila knows what it takes to provide great customer service through communication, attentive property maintenance and keeping the properties tenant-occupied.

Jordan Hart (RA) comes to Kawakami Property Management with 20 years of experience and management in a variety of different fields. From environmental non-profit work, carpentry and retail management roles, Jordan looks forward to utilizing his strengths in communication and organization to create and foster professional and trusting relationships with owners and tenants alike. Bringing his knowledge, experience and desire to deliver the highest quality service with aloha, we are excited to have Jordan on board.
Carolyn Murren (RA) brings 25+ years of business and communications experience in Hawaii. Her skillset - combined with her love of Hawaii's historic buildings and building materials - is an ideal match for the work of Property Management. She is an organized and proactive problem solver who supports our owners with professionalism and aloha.
Daniel Kueny (RA) Dan Kueny is a licensed Realtor proudly serving clients across the island of O‘ahu. With three years of dedicated experience in property management, Dan brings a strong understanding of Hawai‘i’s unique real estate market and a commitment to delivering professional, client-focused service. Before entering the real estate industry, Dan built a background in business management while living in Los Angeles. Dan’s clients benefit from his reliability, clear communication, and deep knowledge of local communities.
Daniel Murren joined our company in 2021. He has 28 years of experience in non-profit and private industry accounting. He was a co-founder Chief Financial Officer of Re-use Hawaii for 14 years, and was also integral to the strategic direction of the organization. He also has impressive expertise in budgeting and cashflow management. I have known Daniel for over 10 years. He is a fast learner, a hard worker and proficient in his work. I am positive he will efficiently take care of your accounting needs.
